As I listen to classical music on Sirius Satellite radio before bed I start to ponder the weekend of Bingham, which if you dont know is the gay rugby world cup tournament was last weekend.

The weekend started off with a party at the Saloon where I met up with Pete from Grinder. Let me 1st say Pete is a sweetheart. We had a good time talking at the bar before we headed back to his hotel room where we undressed and kissed, groped,touch and did some oral fun which was fine but I was not getting anything from it. I could not understand why but then I thought about it and it might have been the fact that I saw this hot man name Chris at the Saloon before we left. After I left Pete in his hotel room I went back to the bar to see if I could run into Chris again and I did.

Some back story on Chris is that he and I have been talking on Recon for some time before I left for Bingham Cup. He said he was going to be in town to see family and to see his old rugby team play in the cup as well. Which in most case's I would think that I would not run into him at all, but I did and I do not regret it at all. Now back to the good stuff.

Chris and I played around at the bar and chatted a bit and I knew this was different, this was what I've been looking for. A man who is him self and into kink and doest worry about what other people think of him or what he is doing. Chris pinched and twisted my nipples and slapped my face and punched my chest and abs and it was GREAT! I've been craving this type of play for along time.

One of the things that makes this so different is that he is my age and I mean my age he is 26. We both were done with high school in 2002 and we both are sexually active and into the BDSM/Leather Community. Chris then drove me back to my hotel room and we did some pretty hot play in the shower then as we were getting dressed all of my roomies had walked and and of course gotten some ideas in their heads but oh well, after they all left Chris and I finish getting dressed we went out for a great dinner had a chance to talk and eat and look into each other eyes and just learn more about our selfs and each other. Then Chris walked me back to my room like a gentleman and had to leave as he had some prior plans with family.

Then I went to a dinner with my brothers of my rugby club, which True set up for us and it was a blast. Everyone had a great time and so did I. As I headed back to the hotel room I notice there was a skip in my step as I was super excited that I was going to get to see Chris in a few hours at the Eagle. We met up there and had a blast as we had been having the entire time since I met him. I know I said before I was not going to be looking to date anyone but when your not looking for something its when you always find what you are looking for.

So with that being said, I am excited to have talked with Chris(Sir) every day since then on the phone and in text message and I'm looking forward to talking about having him come visit me here in Seattle soon.

A break from the norm

Over the next few days I'll be taking a break from the normal days of my life as rugby's spring season has just ended. My plan is to be brainstorming on the past few weeks about what has been going on and what I want to happen.

Some ideas that may be in the blog could be about dating,fitness,doing a car trade in , was it love and-or just lust, rugby, work, job search, my DC friends and my friendships I am trying to bond here.

I know I told a few people my next blog would be about love and how much I want to start living with my heart on the outside and then I was thinking if I did that it may get hurt a little to much so instead I've just been listening to music today after a boring day at work doing a reset of glassware.

IRS, Dating, Rugby-ish, Portland, Friendship

So lets get the bad info out first, so I am being audit from the IRS from tax year 2008, which sucks cause I did not think I had any of the paper work for my schooling or work. but then I remember that I'm a nut for record keeping and that I actually had all the taxes from when I started to work in a small box in my closet.

While I was looking for the right paper work I was listening to Lady Antebellum's I Need You Now song remixed by dj Dark Intensity and it made me think about what my rugby brother True said about me at brunch on Sunday in Portland. He said that I did not need or want to just have random sex, that I was looking for love and this song has me thinking that he might be right. I do believe in GREAT love, the kinda sappy love like Moulin Rouge. I just dont think I am ready to give up my chance of having non knowing of names type of sex and fun before I settle down with someone. At the same time I dont believe in monogamy for the long run of relationships. I did though have a person of interest come to my rugby match down in Portland to watch.

His name is Marc, and I had a blast just hanging out with him and talking and just messing around until most of my rugby brothers were all leaving for steak and tit's and I started to feel guilty about not hanging with them and showing my str8 teammates that even though they are odd(cause they are str8) that I'm glad and thankful that they play with us. So I told Marc to head home and I was going to met up with my rugby brothers.
So I got to the strip bar and everyone had a blast, the girls were hot and very flexible with great ass heels on.

So the weekend trip with my rugby brothers turned out to be a blast and like always I had a great time just getting to know more of my rugby mates on and off the pitch. I do have to say that the only thing that would have made it a better weekend was if Aryk was there.

Not many of you know much about him. I would say he is one of the very few people out here I feel like I could call him a a true friend. So some info on him (dont worry Aryk). He is one of the guys that I just have been hanging with on the pitch (rugby field)and off helping me with my change in my old relationship and just giving me advice when I ask for it (mainly lately its been about muscle aches)and he has been my good voice on my shoulder. As my DC peeps all know, my evil ginger side tends to come out alot.

So with all of that being said, I would just like to say, thank you to the Seattle Quake Rugby Club for all the help on the pitch and the advice off the pitch about life and that this weekend was once again a blast.

Rugby Road Trip

So on friday me and my fellow rugby brother Aryk left for Eugene, OR. The 1st hr of the trip we got stuck in traffic around Tacoma but all was well as it gave us time to chat and get to know each other. Once we were closer to Portland we did stop to see Aryk sister and her son. It also was a great chance to not stare anymore at the blacktop. Once south of Portland the trip started to feel like we were never going to get there as it was pitch black out and a cop was behind us with his lights on and we were sure he was coming to get us but he just passed and went on with his business.

Once at the hotel we rested up and waited for Sam our other rugby brother to get in who we were sharing the room with. Once Sam was there we went to Eugene's only gay bar to find out it was a hole in the wall place in a room about 20x20. The patrons of the bar were either females or drunken or high boys, but we made the best of it and chatted and tired to get Sam to dance some. Once we were done we decided to hit up taco bell for some late night dinner. We got back to the hotel room pretty late and stayed up watch some videos on youtube.com and then crashed. The morning came soon and we all enjoyed some nice hot food before hitting the hot tub. Once we were done in the hot tub we started our packing up and getting ready to head to the pitch for the game.....

Seattle, Rugby, Brotherhood

So after seeing a friends blog I figured its about time that I started back up with mine. So its been about 5 months since I moved here to Seattle from Washington DC. So far the weather has been great. The rain is nothing and the temp is very nice. I've had a few bumps with the move, one being that the job I was coming to move here for was canceled, so that was a rough time. But as always I found another job to help me get through.

Its with my old company Cost Plus World Market, so far its working out great. I love the people I work with, they are fun and laid back and willing to help me when I dont know what I am doing. The only part of the job that I dont care for is the early mornings after rugby practice.

So yes, I am playing rugby for the Seattle Quake. I started to practice with them back in Oct. or Nov. I dont really call which since it was about the same time I started working and was trying to get use to the early hours along with the longer days at work cause of the holiday season. So when I came back from my trip back to DC in Jan. I started attending practice's with it being my one of my main focus. We had our 1st game last Saturday and it was exciting to be apart of it. I got play more then I thought I would, which has been a major boost in my self esteem in the game. I am ready to practice more tonight and learn as much as I can before Saturdays game in OR.

The team has been great to me, back in Dec. we had a winter banquet, and all the rookies were called up to stage to be given their rookie drinking mugs to bring to every drink up. Since then I have grown attach to the team, and when I have missed practice I have been bored out of my mind with only thinking about what the team is doing. I feel as if I have finally found a brotherhood of people that I have been searching for awhile. Growing up as a only child has its benefits but it also does not allow you to really grow up with anyone. With the team I feel as with every practice and drink we are bonding together in more ways then I can explain.

So here is to Rugby,Brotherhood and Seattle for making my move here so much easier then I thought it would be.

D.C. Cracking Down On People Who Feed Parking Meters

Officials said two-hour zones are there for a reason, and drivers are not allowed to come back and pump more quarters into meters after time expires.

The Department of Public Works is testing new technology to make it easier to catch cheaters.

Out of State kids coming to DC to use our school?

So as I am out front water the flowers and plants I am noticing alot of Maryland tag cars going to Emery ES and picking up kids. In the morning time I just thought it was teachers going in and parking cause I have not payed much attention to this. But now I am wondering, are parents lying to the District to have their kids go to school here so they can pick them up on the way home? Now I am pretty sure this is illegal, but its not really harming anyone is it?

Well I think that its wrong that we are paying for out of state kids coming to our schools. If the kids/parents live here in DC then this is a great chance for the city to make money off of cars that are illegaly tagged. I've noticed 6 cars with MD tag in just 10 mins. Just something to think about.

My dog got hit by a car.....Monday 05 2007

Okay so I have my dog on the leash and I am waiting for my garage door to close then we start walking and next thing I know my dog get hit in the head/face by a car driving up the alley the wrong way. I yelled at the car and the passenger in the car noticed us and the car kept going. It happened in R street alley NE in the part that is only one way from Lincoln rd NE to 1st street NE.
He seems to be okay, this is the 1st time one of us has gotten hit but there has been more then 8 other times where one of us almost got before by people going up the alley the wrong way. I do not know who contact about this. This is getting really old really fast, a few times I have yelled at the people and they given me shit about me yelling at them for going the wrong way.
What if I was a kid playing in alley and this happened and it could happened since Emery ES is 2 house's down from mine.

High Heel Race

So Last night I got dressed up in Drag (for my 1st time) and went to the high heel race in DuPont. It was a blast but some of the guys in drag took it way too seriously its for shit and giggles. The whole street was packed from p street nw up 17th nw to r street nw. I will have pictures up a little later on the week of the event. All and all it was a good time. The only problem I have with it is seeing actually females dressed up to try to out do us gay guys or something.

Anyway I need some practice walking in heels, I have blisters on my feet now OUCH. Also need to the wig a little better so im not eating hair all night along. So its Halloween today, maybe I will give out candy in drag tonight sitting on my porch. Anyway Happy Halloween to all and if you have kids make sure you go with them and make sure they don't go out in the street with out you cause you and I know that there will be a few drunks flying down the street.

DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS ANNOUNCES FREE GRAFFITI REMOVAL VOUCHER PROGRAM

(Washington, DC) The DC Department of Public Works announced September 7 its Graffiti Removal Voucher Program for District residents and business owners whose property has been defaced by graffiti. Beginning Monday, September 10, they may call the Citywide Call Center at 202.727.1000 to obtain a voucher to be redeemed at McCormick Paints located at 15^th and P Streets, NW and Duron Paints located at 14^th and Clifton Streets, NW.

The paint store will match the color of the paint of the property and will provide property owners with paint, primer, a brush, roller, pan, drop cloth and graffiti scrubs free of charge.

The voucher program is part of Mayor Adrian M. Fenty’s aggressive graffiti abatement plan, announced in June 2007, which will allow the city to remove graffiti on private property more quickly and help property owners remove graffiti themselves.

“Offering property owners the voucher for paint and other materials is a fast way to remove graffiti, which is a rising problem in our city,” said DPW Director William O. Howland, Jr. “The voucher program also will relieve some of the financial burden that causes residential and business property owners to delay removing the graffiti themselves. Not only will this program help to keep our city cleaner, it will help us keep it safer.”

For more information, or to receive a graffiti removal voucher, call the Citywide Call Center at 202.727.1000. Property owners should expect to receive the voucher within five days of making the request, and they will need to sign the voucher when they redeem it at the paint store.

Washington DC ~ The Board of Directors of The Center – Home for GLBT
in Metro DC is pleased to announce that Christopher Dyer, Brett
Parson, David Schwartz, Kevin Shipman, and Bruce Weiss are being
honored as "Co-Founders" of the DC Crystal Meth Working Group at The
Center's Fall 2007 Fundraiser. The DC Crystal Meth Working Group is a
coalition of community organizations and concerned citizens that is
committed to providing information and resources to help people make
informed choices about crystal meth. Its two main goals are to educate
and inform the community about crystal meth and to advocate for
increased funding and support for substance abuse prevention and
treatment services.

The DC Crystal Meth Working Group has held educational community
forums with expert panelists leading informative discussions on
health, legal, social, and sexual consequences of use and abuse of
crystal meth; conducted outreach at gay bars and nightclubs throughout
2005, 2006, and 2007 and at annual Youth Prides, Black Prides, and
Capital Prides; launched a comprehensive and interactive website
www.LetsTalkAboutMeth.org; formed a speakers bureau; has testified
before the DC Council's Committee on Health, Chaired by Councilmember
At-Large Mr. David Catania; and conducted online and in person surveys
of community members to determine their disposition with regard to
crystal meth.

"Christopher Dyer, Brett Parson, David Schwartz, Kevin Shipman, and
Bruce Weiss were the driving forces that provided the foundation to
launch the DC Crystal Meth Working Group," states Michael Sessa,
president of The Center and chair of the DC Crystal Meth Working
Group. "Their passion, focus on results, and persistent voluntary
dedication in this effort together created a strong message that has
permeated throughout DC, the region, and actually all across the country."

In June of 2006, The DC Crystal Meth Working Group was selected by the
Caron Foundation as recipients of its Educational Excellence Award for
an Institution or Organization. This award recognizes an educational
institution or organization that has proactively supported and
embraced programs that educate students, families, and communities to
understand chemical dependency through awareness programs. The award
was presented at Caron's Annual Community Service Awards Program, held
Friday morning June 16, 2006 at the Marriott Hotel in Bethesda,
Maryland. In October of 2006, The Center was awarded by the DC Council
a $100,000 grant, funding under the Budget Support Act and
administered through the DC Department of Health's Addiction
Prevention and Recovery Administration (APRA), to continue outreach
efforts.

The Center's Fall 2007 Fundraiser is being held Wednesday September
19, 2007 at 1517 Webster Street NW in Washington, D.C. from 7pm – 9pm.

So I've been watching people who come into the alley or R street NE @ Lincoln NE. I would say atleast 50% of the people go behind the homes on Lincoln rd NE with someone else and come back out within 5 mins. Or as I just saw a few minutes ago, they may just do the deal out in the open in the R street Alley NE. Also I notice cars coming into the alley picking someone up at R street NE Alley @ Lincoln rd NE driving them down the alley making a right onto 1st NE and another right onto R street NE then ending up at R street NE Alley @ Lincoln rd NE dropping the person off and speeding down the alley.

Another thing, People driving up R street alley NE the wrong way from 1st street NE to Lincoln rd NE. It is only ONE WAY and it is marked with DO NOT ENTER and yet the people who are doing this give you looks and talk shit when you tell them its one way.

I am somewhat in shock over this, I mean why hasn't the people who live here do something about? Well I guess that is another topic for it own blog.

Please join us this Saturday from 9am till 2pm at Emery Elementary School located at 1720 First Street Ne for our annual clean-up before classes begin next Monday. Demonstrate your concern for the community and our young people by helping to fix up the outside of the school and the surrounding grounds.

We will tackle the following Projects:

1. Paint the outside doors around the building.

2. Fill a 50ft by 8 ft tree box with topsoil and plant flowers in it.

3. Set up tree boxes for our fall planting of trees from Casey Trees

4. Create a new garden bed in front of the school

5. Prune and remove branches from a large tree behind the school.

6. Weed and edge sidewalks and sweep the parking lot.

We have the tools and supplies but what we really need is you!!!

So I am all for making it easier on the construction trucks/dump trucks to get to whatever they are doing at McKinley Technical High School football field to have it done faster. As this has been going on week after week for the entire summer. Once school starts back up in 2 weeks there is going to be a problem since almost 1/2 of the kids that go to Emery Elementary, walk without parents to and from school The dump trucks don't seem to stop when they reach intersection of 1st N.E. and R alley N.E. Not to mention that most of the students of McKinley Technical High School that drive use that alley to get to and from school too while talking on their cell phones. I'm just afraid that most of them will not be paying attention and there will be an accident, as there almost was this past spring every time two cars come to 1st street NE and R street alley NE. So I will be making calls to the mayors office everyday once school starts back up, about why the trucks can not use the actually entrance to McKinley Technical High School on T street N.E. and about how unsafe the drivers of the trucks are.

So I was out walking the dog at 2:45am and I caught a guy walking down R street NE towards Eckington place NE and I caught a guy checking everyones door to see if it was locked. Luckily the dog knew something was up and started to bark at him and he ran off. I called 311 and they took down what the guy looked like and my name and phone #.

R street ne, an alley or a street?

So within the pass 15 mins there has been 4 cars that speed down R street ne alley(between lincoln and 1st ne) like its R street, now the reason why its pissing me off so much is the fact that is not a street and should not be used to pass the light at Lincoln and R n.e. There are homes on R street that the kids play in the alley to stay off the street and other people are in the alley cleaning their cars and such.

Hello Eckington and surrounding areas, Name is Mike and just wanted to introduce myself to everyone. My partner Michael and I just moved into the area 3 months go. We have a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog who will be 1yr old and is 130lbs rite now.

We both are looking to get more involved in the community. If anyone has any advice or where to go to get info please let me know. We do know that we want to have the alleys in our area be kept clean and the schools around be kept up to date on cutting back trees and weeds and fixing fences and light post.
