So I was out walking the dog at 2:45am and I caught a guy walking down R street NE towards Eckington place NE and I caught a guy checking everyones door to see if it was locked. Luckily the dog knew something was up and started to bark at him and he ran off. I called 311 and they took down what the guy looked like and my name and phone #.
Please make sure you lock your doors to you car.

These clowns make me sick. Instead of stealing from someone who worked hard to get their own things, why don't you thugs get a job. It would make the world so much safer.
You did the right thing by reporting him and I hope he's caught.
